Themeday: Keeping Christmas Real!

HI!

As I said in not the last but the post before that, I will do a post on Christmas Eve outfit and I am quite happy that I finally have something related to fashion to blog about! I have a lot of pictures so I will just get to the point.

This i wore on Christmas Eve:

The outfit holds:
- A wooly red scarf
- A black/silver dress
- A red bolero
You can see that red is the main color, and then there is this black dress. And I think it makes Christmas stand out a little more with all the red.

My scarf: I just got it this Christmas and I am very glad that I got it, because it looks like a cold January. I am actually wearing right now. As I have experienced many times, wooly clothes usually itch quite a bit, but this scarf is so soft and doesn’t itch at all. I really like it. It is from ZARA.

My Bolero:
I got it quite a while back, a few years actually, but I still fit it. It is red, as you see and it has tiny pearls on it. The very best part of it is the shiny, silver hook thing on the closing bit.

The Dress:
This one I got last year. I love it! I can use it for occasions as: Birthday parties, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, my own birthday and so on.

Red Tights:
I am very fond of them because it isn’t very like me to buy tight in other colors than black, navy blue and other darker colors. I got them in Pennys this Christmas.

These are the chocolates I’ve been eating all Christmas, they are really funny and tast so well!

Instagram!

HI!

Today is the last day of the school holidays and our internet and TV wasn’t working in the neighborhood last night and this morning. So I’ve been exploring my dad’s iPad and the apps on it. And I have heard a lot about Instagram and a see pictures on facebook made on Instagram. I actually think that it is really fun to take pictures with it. I like the kind of styles you change your pictures into. Especially one called ‘Earlybird’.

I’ve been having quite a lot of fun with it. My auntie also shares pictures of my 7 month old cousin on Facebook by Instagram, and the pictures are really cool.

This is a picture of me blogging this blog post (Earlybird)

I can really recommend it!

Update

Hi,

I am really happy! For two reasons at the time:

  1. I watched Breaking Dawn! And it was surprisingly sad, I cried through the entire end. I’ve waited for like a year since I read the book for this movie to come out. Unfortunately my friend Klara (who I read the book with) watched it Wednesday – that was too bad, but it’s fine.
  2. My whole “More young bloggers… blah-blah”-thing is coming true. When I made that post I was alone – I didn’t know any other bloggers my age. But now I have several friends blogging – and the fantastic thing is I was only a little bit involved in it. Here’s how it started: I set my friend Hanna up on WordPress (she unfortunately switched to blogspot.com) and then she inspired our friend Nynne to start. And our friend Emmy alos started a photoblog about her life somewhere in between those two. So a wish really can come true – poetic, right.

Changing the subject: I really want to blog more about the original category of this blog, fashion. But I just don’t seem to be able to find anything fashion related to blog about. I just don’t want to be one of those (excuse me but, fake) bloggers that only blog about themselves and their style. I want to set an example fro people to not be fake on their blogs, because that is just the very worst thing that you can do on your blog: Be unnatural, you’re only kidding yourself. In all seriousness, if the internet is on it’s way to a sky of fakes… I’m going to leave the internet forever. Drama Queen!

I also changed my header. I quite like it because I have been trying to get a good header for a long time, the only minus is that it isn’t taken on a very good camera – but I just think that as long as I like it, it will do.

Parents…

Hello! Quick warning: If your name is Ole or Kerry Kassow, you might not want to read this blog post…

You may well notice the ‘…’ in the title. I have found parents very… uhm… disagreeing in a way. It’s just as out of nowhere they change and turn against you (some of the time). And they don’t seem to understand you 100% – they are like aliens from mars. But they can also be understanding when they want to, and even though the are nice and helpful and I do love them, they just – argh – really sometimes get on my nerves.

But with all this said and if certain Kerry and Ole people read this despite the warning, I would like to praise their cooking. And that they are very nice people that do very nice things for their children – pay for clothes, holidays, food and all these things that I’m very grateful for.

Bored in School

Hi,

My friends Nynne and Matilde got a bit bored in the break between maths class and the lunch break – so we took some pictures with Photo Booth (which btw to me is the best application ever for the MacBook).

Celebrating life with new technology!

She’s a Surviver!

Hello!

Oh yes! My alter worked! My bunny is as alive as ever – and I feel terrible that I was away on a scouts camp when she was at the vet. And in a very freakish way I feel that she knows that I wasn’t there, and I haven’t been forgiven yet, unfortunately. The poor things had their tummy shaved (sorry, but it looks ridiculous) and also found out that the food we were giving them were like candy for them, so we made a ‘Bunnie Food Pyramide’ apparently the very best thing for them is grass lots and lots of grass. I picked lots of dandelion leaves for them on a lawn today. The are going to have their stitches taken out soon, and after that they can live with each other again – YAY!

But a part from that I’ve had a great! It was very cold and wet, and one night I woke up like 3-4 times because the rain was hitting the tent really hard. At one point I got afraid a tree was going to fall on us, but that was clearly an exaggeration. I am very thankful that I could borrow the thermal sleeping bag – I don’t know what I would have done with out it. While I was there my new friend and I were interviewed (http://pigespejder.dk/nc/forside/aktuelt/nyheder/nyhed/vis/udfordringer-nye-venner-ungleder/) about the camp by the people that write stuff on the girl scouts’ website. It actually ended up on the front page – I am regretting that I wore my pink hat from 2nd grade.

While I was gone my family went shopping for clothes in H&M, Waterfront  (My heaven!) AND they went to Tivoli and saw the biggest pumpkin (288kg) in Denmark (So Jealous…). I can’t say that I didn’t want to go with them…

Going back to school tomorrow :-(

A Great Reason for School Computers

YAY! In school we’re getting computers! Even though we we promised them last year we are sure that we will get them next week! But today we were aloud to bring our own computers to school. It’s is so fun because we can blog in the break! (my blog is my best friend – sad, I know).

If it was up to me, I would want all schools to give the students computers. Because it is obvious that in this modern time, teenagers would rather do homework on computers than in books. It activates even the laziest in the class. Now you don’t have to take notes with a pencil and get sore and tired hands, now you can just type it all in on your own computer. But of course this is all seen from me, a 12 year old, I can imagine most parents answers, like “No, it’s to unhealthy!” or “Why would you do that when your hands are fine!?” I’ll tell you why – because we live in the year 2011 people! This is the right time to use technology, even in school. Grown-ups can’t take it out on children today, just because they didn’t have computers when they went to school, right? Luckily my parents aren’t those kind of grown-ups!

And today my maths teacher starts to hand out sodas in the middle of a maths test – I mean how often does that happen?

Today in school – my spot is below in the far left! It’s so cozy!
