She’s a Surviver!

Hello!

Oh yes! My alter worked! My bunny is as alive as ever – and I feel terrible that I was away on a scouts camp when she was at the vet. And in a very freakish way I feel that she knows that I wasn’t there, and I haven’t been forgiven yet, unfortunately. The poor things had their tummy shaved (sorry, but it looks ridiculous) and also found out that the food we were giving them were like candy for them, so we made a ‘Bunnie Food Pyramide’ apparently the very best thing for them is grass lots and lots of grass. I picked lots of dandelion leaves for them on a lawn today. The are going to have their stitches taken out soon, and after that they can live with each other again – YAY!

But a part from that I’ve had a great! It was very cold and wet, and one night I woke up like 3-4 times because the rain was hitting the tent really hard. At one point I got afraid a tree was going to fall on us, but that was clearly an exaggeration. I am very thankful that I could borrow the thermal sleeping bag – I don’t know what I would have done with out it. While I was there my new friend and I were interviewed (http://pigespejder.dk/nc/forside/aktuelt/nyheder/nyhed/vis/udfordringer-nye-venner-ungleder/) about the camp by the people that write stuff on the girl scouts’ website. It actually ended up on the front page – I am regretting that I wore my pink hat from 2nd grade.

While I was gone my family went shopping for clothes in H&M, Waterfront  (My heaven!) AND they went to Tivoli and saw the biggest pumpkin (288kg) in Denmark (So Jealous…). I can’t say that I didn’t want to go with them…

Going back to school tomorrow :-(

Staying Really Warm

Hi again,

Hope that you all are having a nice AUTUMN BREAK, for those of you that have holiday. I am looking so much forward to this holiday because I am going on a scouts camp to Vejle (Jutland). Well not that it’s a bad thing but apparently we are going to sleep in tents or in shelters in -5 °C… “Yikes!”. My pack list was the craziest thing yet, it went on for 2 pages! I have to bring 15 pairs of regular socks and on top of that 5 pairs of ‘over-the-knee’ woolen socks. SO thanks to my my wonderful mum, I now have new… rain gear, socks (x20), ski underwear, top, gloves (x4), fleece ear warmers and my mum accidently shrunk my woolen sweater in the wash (now it fits Halley) so she so kindly gave me hers! I was also so lucky that our neighbor Lina could lend my a thermal sleeping bag, thank you!

I hope that I can stay all warm – while I’m sleeping and awake. I leave tomorrow so I won’t be able to blog this week.

PS. Malou – my bunny is being operated while I’m gone. It’s an operation that bunnies sometimes die of so I’ve made an ‘alter-of-luck’ in my room with all the stuff that’s hers or reminds me of her. (Wish her luck!)

Hello Everyone – this blog post is quite special because it is extra long and I’ve put extra much effort into making it. My blogger girls and I are having a blogging sleep over! YEARH! It is so cozy. It is mainly about fashion so Hanna brought her camera over, too. We’re mostly taking pictures of outfits and stuff, so they both brought over they’re favorite outfits, that they are going to pose with – it’s really fun! Nynne had also just gone shopping in Cheap Monday this afternoon and bought a really cool top. We made a homemade catwalk video on iMovie, too – and it was really weird, because none of us could take it seriously!

Hanna is the (great) photographer tonight – my camera was acting weirdly, so i couldn’t use it. Mostly we’ve been taking pictures – and I really want to show them.

This outfit I personalized a little bit. I added the socks to get a look that matched my personality (this is kind of a joke, because we we’re not really taking so much of this so seriously :-D ). My personality is – realxed and feminine-ish (I’m not so good with words – it’s really hard to describe my personality) but with a little touch that represents the boy-girl that is in me. I know – it does look scruffy, but it’s not like I am going to wear it outside.

Me and Nynne posing for Hanna.
 Apple rocks!

Goodbye and Goodnight for now,

Room Decorations

Hello!

Autumn is here! And that is a bad thing for some people! But I am proud of loving autumn and especially winter! Do you know that feeling when you step out in the snow a cold winter morning, with the snow crunching under your feet and smelling that breeze that is indescribable. And it gets even better when the sun is shining, too.

Changing the subject. Do you know those kind of annoying people that have to have interior change all the time? You might have lived with someone that just kept moving around the sofa in the living room. Well unfortunately my little sister Ciara (the cheeky one) lives with me – a person like that. Okay it’s not that bad, but I do need some small changes once in a while. Like taking down a picture or two from the wall and putting something else up some of my friends do that to like my good friend Hanna. And lately I’ve gathered some stuff to decorate the room with.

This is some letters from a nice little shop that Ciara and I really like on Blegdamsvej called Hill Street - Great Shop! Halley got an “H” and a “5″ too. Ups… I have a few holes in the walls. And the lighting isn’t so good in the picture (even though I edited it) – sorry :-P

Last friday my mum got back from Rome on a business trip. I went shopping friday afternoon and got three bouquets of pink roses. One of those three I put in my room, on the desk. And here they are.

My beloved shelf! This isn’t actually new new but it is a bit new. I keep all kind my handy stuff up there right over my bed. I have my first aid kit, fake flowers (which I am quite a fan of), a mirror and other different handy things like water, lip balm and so on.

Halley’s Cool Shoes

Hi

I for a long time really wanted a pair of Hummel shoes and guess what… Halley my 5 year old sister got them! But I am very happy for her, because she is so cute when she wears them. She unfortunately she didn’t want to pose with them on for my blog. :-(

They aren’t exactly the same, I liked the creme colored ones and Halley got these cool ones that are black and sparkly. She’s a lucky girl – she really is.

Themedays: Keeping Autumn Real! – Day 4

Hello, for the last time!

So this is the final day of the theme days and it’s about the hair and a little bit about the make-up. Now it might not make much sense since it obviously doesn’t look like much. But I did think it through, actually if it is possible to see, then you might have noticed the hair clips in the back. I described the hair clip in yesterdays post (right below this one).

Next – the make-up, which I don’t (want to) wear daily (yet). I just don’t want to look tired (I’m sick at the time), but not to worry :-)

Eyeshadow: I don’t want to be one of those weirdos on Youtube going all “experty” (because I don’t care a lot about expensive and famous make up brands). I have a make-up thingy with lots of eyeshadows in it from H&M, that I use for parties and other “special occasions”. From that thingy – that I don’t have a name for - I used the coral blue color (I have no make-up experience what so ever, so don’t judge me if it doesn’t look right :-P ). The one I am wearing is the very top, far right one.

Lip balm: There’s not really anything great about this lip balm, I just like it so much because I bought it with this Oilily toilet bag on a ferry this summer. And in it I got a  soap and this really nice lip balm. It’s good for my annoyingly dry lips :-) .

(Sorry about the terrible nails!)

Thanks for reading these past 4 days!

Themedays: Keeping Autumn Real! – Day 3

Hello. Again, again.

Today as said it is all about the accessories! I won’t keep it waiting, so I will just start now ;-)

- Hunter Boots: You might have read a post about these already. I really love them they are great even for just cold days! I would recommend them.

- Purse: It’s from Accessorize. It love it because it is long-ish and has nice flowers on it. I bought it in Accessorize in Dublin Airport this summer.

- Hair clip: I made this myself at a jewelry club i went to 2 years ago.

- Flowers: These were just weed in the garden that I picked from the edge of the house.

Themedays: Keeping Autumn Real! – Day 2

Hello! Again!

Today (as said) I am going to write about the clothes in the outfit. So this is actually the fundament of the theme-days. I will just tell you punctually about the the clothes one at a time. Enjoy :-)

- Poncho:  It is from Ekeko (thumbs up). This is my very most favorite cardigan-sweater-type-ting (not only because it’s my only poncho).  I bought it in a warehouse on Bornholm, it is made in Bolivia of real alpaca (terrified to find out about that after I bought it… alpacas are my 2nd favorite animal). But it is unbelievably comfortable! Close-up you can see that alpacas are actually on the poncho.

- Scarf: This scarf is from Min Søsters Butik (thumbs up) on Østerbrogade. The reason why I didn’t put the scarf in the ‘Accessories’ post, was because then I wouldn’t have enough to write about in this post. I love it – it has been great for wearing in the evenings!

- Shorts: The shorts are from H&M (thumbs up) . They are quite scruffy by now, but I don’t wear them that much. I’ve had them for almost 2 years now and I still just keep fitting them.

- Leggings: Well now they are leggings – but before they were leggings they were tights. The thing is that I got lots of holes by the toes and then I cut the bottom of! Tadaaa! For tights you just have to put on a per of black socks too.

- Hat: That is from from Accessorize or Monsoon (I can’t remember). I think it is really cute with the big flower, and it is the just right shade of pink!

Thanks for reading xo

Tomorrow: ‘Accessories’

Spring collection 2011

If you read my blog last year you might have read my post on my spring-summer clothes collection. I am taking it to new levels this year …*evil laugh*… I will do more than just clothes, don’t worry. I will try to remember to make Summer/spring collection posts a tradition every spring.

Dress: I bought it in a shop called Deres on our main street, it comes in white as well. It was 269.95 kr. (bought it with my own money, no way my parents would let my buy something at that price normally).

Nail-polish: From my favourite accessory store Pieces (I did a post on this nail-polish once). It is “Parisian Mints” and i LOVE it!

Hair: One of my favourite hair-styles + a really beautiful hair-clip from my friend Nynne. I love the yellow color it is very fresh and the butterflies are very cute.

Dress: I got this dress last summer at H&M, even though it is from last year it is still very nice to where.

Cardigan: Also from H&M, although this one is from this year. I really like it because it has a salmon color and that is the color I am really into this year!

Hair: I picked a ponytail because I love ponytails going to the beach, and this I would wear to the beach.

Top: This top is from Next, I got it for christmas from my grandparents. I really like it because of the very thin material, that keeps you cool during hot summers.

Shawl: I really don’t remember where it’s from but I do remember that I got it 6 years ago for my birthday. Anyway I love the blue color it’s very fresh!

Jeans: These are from H&M too. But I guess you can buy jeans everywhere so, not much to write about here!

The popular belt

Hi

This is a bit like a trailer post that is attached to the last one about high-waisted skirts.

I just wanted to say that belts look really really good with these skirts, and as I am sure you’ve noticed I am wearing the belt in the last pictures.

And you can get small belt and big belt it all is up to the person wearing them. But I do personally prefer the big belts, as above. If you for an example look threw a catalogue, you will probably be 85% sure to see a high-waisted skirt with a belt.

I have seen other people use belts as above on there jackets, I tried it and it looked okay, it just looked best without. Think about it.
