Themedays: Keeping Autumn Real! – Day 1
Hello Everyone!
Yesterday I had a really good idea, and that idea was to do a (short but thorough) themeweek. I am going to do these theme-days about a very cool looking autumn outfit, it warms quite a lot right now in Copenhagen, but it all really depends on where you live. The reason for doing this over a total 4 days is because I want to do a lot more than describing the outfit (like the summer/spring collection). I want to go into details and use an entire post for the basic categories (and then write about the additional categories).
My very first posts was a themeweek about art: http://inprojectmode.com/page/3/?s=day+1 (you have to scroll all the way to the bottom to get to “Day 1″, and then go upwards for “Day 2″ and “Day 3″ and so on). I hope I’ve improved since back then
I thought I’d give you an idea about what I’m going to do. I will start Wednesday, August 30th (today) by introducing these themedays.
- Day 1: Introduction (today)
- Day 2: The Clothes (Wednesday, 31st of August)
- Day 3: The Accessories (Thursday, 1st of September)
- Day 4: The Hair (Friday, 2nd of September)
Happy 50th post!
I have now reached 50 posts!
I is quite unbelievable that I’ve already reached 50 posts. Even though I think I could’ve written a bit more often from time to time. I just wanted to say that I am happy for all the views that I have had since I started and all the comments, and especially to all the followers – I really appreciate it!
When I started my blog in September 2009 I didn’t have a clue about what to write I didn’t even know what my blog was going to be about. So I just started writing, just about art and other creative things. I think I have achieved so much since, It’s the best hobby ever! And I think it is the passion for blogging that has kept my going.
Always Remember!
Hi! I’ve learned some quite unusual stuff that might help someone in similar situations (or questions) that might pop-up in your life. I mean I’ve learned stuff that could cause death! (and just to be clear I haven’t just learned to cross at the green light).
- Give your grandmother clear information about what to feed your bunny while you’re on holiday. You just might get back to a grandmother feeding lettuce (they get deadly diarrhea from that!) to them.
- Don’t cycle 20 km with baggage for 2 weeks on the back. You get very sore knees! Up hill, down hill – all the way!
- To do extreme stuff is the way of living your life.
- When you’re 12 you aren’t too big to have your dad read a story for you on a holiday.
- Svaneke on Bornholm in Denmark is the town of sweets, they have a caramel-, chocolate-, ice cream- and candy factory/shop.
- Us that haven’t lost anyone in the terrible Norway incidents are moving on. But those people that have, the people with so much grief have to live with it for the rest of their lives.
The almost Famous Cake Stall!
Hello
The holiday is coming up, actually it’s tomorrow. It’s going to be great, almost 2 months of relaxing. Of course that is not the case for me, I’m going on an athletic-camp for 5 days starting Monday next week… I can’t say that it is neither bad nor good, I just wish that it was later.
Anyhoo, my sister that monkey is open for business! I was walking home yesterday thinking: I’ll go lay down on the sofa after a tiring day at school. But to my surprise I find Ciara + 4 of her friends setting up a cake stall. And I thought, how nice, just like when I was little. BUT! Then I stepped into the house. Has there been tornado or something!!! – I SUFFER FROM TIDYMANIA!!!
Well, typical me ended up helping them sell coffee and cakes. We made quite a fortune: 116 dkk (15.55 eur). It was really fun! Today they are doing it again selling cupcakes and regular cakes, juice and coffee (well… cold coffee). I took a few pictures too (what else would you expect from me) All the cakes looked fantastic! See for yourself:
That was all!
Thanks Donna for commenting the pictures on Facebook so fast!
If you had a cake stall as a child, then you had the best childhood ever!

Christmas!! Dress warm and cool..
Hi, first of all i want to wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year! I haven’t been writing on my blog for a while, but it is because I have like 5 drafts and the are all half done (I just have to take some pictures). In the new year (2011) I will hopefully find some time to be more active on this blog.
In Denmark it is very snowy this year and some places you can’t even get around. But the good thing about it being cold is that you get to dress cool, so even if you are cold you still look cool. Even if you don’t feel that cool dressed, red cheeks always look great in the snowy weather (maybe not a runny nose). This morning (christmas morning) I got something that will keep a wooly style – I am sure. I got a scarf I have been looking at for ages, it is like a scarf that has been sewn together in the end (so its round) and then you just wrap it around your neck. Then I got some nice indoor shoes/slippers that were wool of to, with a flower on each one, they are very warm and cosy. You can buy the scarf in Gap.
Pets are keeping the christmas fashion high too you know. I see dogs wearing elf-shoes and i saw a cat in a window with a white, red and green scarf, with bells on the end. But the funniest is that my sister (Ciara, 10) made this elf-hat for her bunny it is hilarious!
That is all from me. And thank you all for reading my blog this year, and to the people who subscribed! Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!!

Nail-paint
Hello, I have now observed that nail-polish is very popular now. Little girls, teenagers, grown ups and actually a lot of old women (my grandmother) wears it, you can almost buy it anywhere sometimes it cost 100,- but that is TO pricey, I buy it in secondhand store or something at 20,- I will not go higher then 40,- that is to much. Anyway a few weeks ago i bought this unbelievable parisian mint color that I bought in one of my favorite stores, Pieces, it has a big wall with all kinds of nail-polish it is heaven. But I only wore it for 1 week because I had to take it of for a foodytwoshoes photo-session.
Animal Fashion
Pretty leashes are fine and a coat for your horse is okay, too. But over-decorated pink dress-coats for your chihuahua is just too cruel! I think that mainly Hollywood stars should just think for a moment and take a look at what is best for the animal. Is fashion more important then comfort and health? I think you can get nice colored leashes for your pet/pets but is it necessary to exaggerate with how your pet looks?
Now when me and my sister were in Ireland this summer we bought two very cute leashes for our two new rabbits, Malou and November, but when we came back to Denmark we found out they were XL and our bunnies where only 10 weeks old. Last week my mum bought two other cute leashes that fit, so now i made a mix’n'match.

This is my rabbit Malou with the mix’n'match no. 1, here she is enjoying a run around the garden. The blue string was bought in a gardening/pet center in Sligo, Ireland. There were very many different kinds of leashes from pink to green to blue, all colors. The other one which is around her body is a black one bought in Maxi Zoo in Denmark. Fashion tip: if you have a white rabbit buy a red leash it looks so cute especially at christmas time.

This is the part of the photo-taking-process where Malou looses interest in being photographed, and wants to go back into the warm hutch to get cleaned up. Here she is posing with mix’n'match no. 2; the brown one with blue dots. This one was also bought in the gardening/pet center in Sligo, this one does seem to be the most popular one. I tried googling about leashes, and they said that the elastic ones (the kind I am referring to in this post) are best because the bunnies have more ‘freedom’.
You can actually sell hair-products too a 4 years old
Today when I was bathing my youngest sister, she as always refused to get her hair washed and usually I would make up some fantasy story about a
princess using this shampoo and her hair would grow long golden and perfect, but sadly she does not buy it anymore. But this time I had a problem ’cause what was I suppose to do, anyway I gave her four different choices and for all of them I made up names: Pretty, Amazing, Gorgeous and Enchanted.
Now all this conviction made me think of those bad hair product-commercials, so why not try it out (just for fun though). She chose them all which I referred to as the pretty-amazing-gorgeous-enchanted shampoo, and she bought it. And that is my proof that you can convince/trick a 4 year old into washing her hair.
My summer collection
Now I have thought and thought about, what I should write about this time and i couldn’t think of anything. So I made my very own spring/summer collection that includes only clothes from 10-12. Mostly just because I imagin myself in the outfit so i can’t really design other styles for other ages without at paper and pencil. So i will show you some pictures of my designs. But the clothes are actually clothes from the shops
H&M, Lysgaard Freoli, german flea markets and so on. In this collection there will be some accessories that you may notice some of them are homemade and others are bought in Accessorize, Monsoon and other accessory stores. Anyway i’ve got two sets picked out so, enjoy.
This is my first set and it isn’t very hard to buy something similar to it. The scarf is from my mum and she bought it in Magasin.
This scarf is very smart having in the summer time because you can also were it at a shawl in the evening.
The top is from Lysgaard Feroli, but it is ages ago since I bought is but you would probably find something similar in Noa Noa.
But the shorts you would still find in H&M not that expensive either, the problem would then be those shorts were children’s ones but, I would think they had something like that for grown ups, too.

The leggings are from Pretty Sille, I guess you can buy white leggings almost anywhere where you can but tights and socks and stuff. But the ones i’ve got are from Tøj Og Sko which sell a lot of that kind of stuff.
The shoes as in the earlier post are from Aldo which is a shoe shop, I bought mine in the big shopping center Fields.
The bracelets are from Next and I love them I got the for my birthday last year and they are very fancy. I am sure you could find something like that in Accessorize or Monsoon.
My second set is a involves more clothes that still are for sale in the shops. I bought the scarf on a germen flea market in Flensburg, on my class week-trip. I am that smart that i picked out the perfect scarfs for the summer on this collection because this one is good for hot days it has very thin material.
The jean waistcoat is from H&M and is most lightly still in the shops. I think it also comes in grown up sizes but if not there is tons of other stores to buy them in.
The skirts is once again from H&M and is actually a high-waisted skirt but you can’t see it because of the waistcoat. This skirt is not from the children’s catalog, and I just bought the same day as the gladiator shoes.
The star hair clip that I am wearing is homemade. Last winter I went to this jewelry class which i signed up for with two other friends and it was very nice, I also made a bracelet there.

Thank you for reading my post, look out this winter there might be a Winter Collection<3
