5 ways to make your day better!

I’m back!

I’m going to be honest with you and say it out loud: I’ve had a break from blogging this past month because I’ve not really had the extra energy i usually have.

There I said it, so I really am going to be much more active from now on. Not that anyone would care very much if I were more active, but it keeps me busy.

I have really noticed that the weather in Copenhagen is a bit (or a lot) depressing. It’s like one day the sun is shining and it’s mild outside and everyone’s like: “spring has come, I’m so happy – blah, blah, blah…”. Then the next day, what do you know suddenly we’ve gone back to snow! What is up with that?!

Anyway, that is why I made this blog post, because if you feel the same way as me, here are some very good tips to lighten up your day.

  1. When your stuck in a rutt and you feel like a change, it sometimes helps to do something different. You don’t have to change a lot, a little bit is enough. Fx, the other day my little sister encouraged me to sleep with my head in the foot-end of my bed, and that was enough to change my day a little bit.
  2. In the middle of the day (on a sunny day) you can usually see the sun hit the wall inside. Take a look at it for just a while, just enough to appreciate it.  It always makes me happy.
  3.  Okay, I don’t want to sound like some little perfect, weirdo girl. But if you bake something for your family Friday night, you for one thing get to enjoy it yourself but you also make the rest of the people eating it happy.
  4. Spoil yourself just a little bit. Put ice in you water or maybe a straw. Enjoy!
  5. Don’t wear something you don’t feel like wearing, your obviously making sure on beforehand that your day will be terrible! Probably the best advice in this post.

Hi Aisling! Do you have to say “I’m ba-ack” in the Style of Ken? Hope life is good with you in CPH and that you are coping without your mother this week. Speak soon. Love, Sarah
